Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked on Nintendo Switch 2
Hello fellow adventurers! We at Resolution Games are continuing our work on Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked, a tactical cooperative digital board game set in the Forgotten Realms that launched cross-platform back in November. And today, we bring you some exciting news that not only expands how you can play but also who you can play!
Whether you're a longtime D&D veteran or stepping foot into our digital version of Forgotten Realms for the first time, today is the day to gather your party and answer the call to adventure: Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked is now available on Nintendo Switch 2!
Built on the Demeo Action Roleplaying System, Battlemarked allows players to experience D&D like never before by combining the iconic monsters, magic, and lore of DUNGEONS & DRAGONS with streamlined, turn-based gameplay for one to four players. Thanks to full cross-platform support, Nintendo Switch 2 players can now join friends across Steam, Meta Horizon, and PlayStation to embark on adventures together regardless of platform. (Please note that a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is required for multiplayer play.)
Currently available with two complete story-driven adventures and a premium DLC expansion planned to arrive on all platforms later this year, Battlemarked is designed as a fast-paced, DM-less D&D experience that puts the focus on cooperative strategy, meaningful choices, and action-packed encounters. Each legendary hero (Gruda takes the number of available heroes in the game up to eight, see the next section for more info on that news) brings a unique set of class-specific action cards inspired by iconic D&D spells and abilities, creating countless opportunities for clever tactics, heroic moments, and memorable victories.
Gruda Razortusk Joins the Party
Also new as of today, Gruda Razortusk, the orc druid has joined our intrepid band of adventurers across all supported platforms. She grew up among the fierce Tornskulls, but always found joy in the wild things. When warned to fear the Briar Witch, Gruda got curious instead and discovered a kind mentor. Now, Gruda’s chasing new adventures with wide eyes and a bigger heart, because if her tribe was wrong about the witch, maybe the world’s full of wonders they’ve never dared to see…
As a druid, Gruda’s playstyle focuses mainly on supporting her party in the fight through a powerful blend of healing, battlefield control, and defensive magic. Whether she's mending wounds with Healing Spirit, pushing back enemies with Erupting Earth, or shielding allies with Barkskin, she's always ready to turn the tide of battle.
However, behind the calm and cheerful demeanour is a powerful warrior! Gruda also has access to powerful damaging spells like Call Lightning, and of course can transform into a bear by using Wild Shape. In her bear form, she’s capable of both dealing and tanking damage, as well as accessing a whole new set of abilities.
When bringing the Druid into the Demeo Action Roleplaying System, we wanted to capture the class’ trademark flexibility and style of play from the tabletop game. Depending on how you spec Gruda, players can lean into a Circle of the Land-inspired playstyle focused on powerful and enhanced healing, or embrace a Circle of the Moon-inspired approach that emphasizes her bear form. Because Gruda is an orc, you also get access to a version of the Relentless Endurance trait, allowing her to remain standing against all odds where less hardy heroes would have fallen.

Druid Side Quest
Before Gruda can join your party, you'll need to uncover her story through a new side quest. The journey begins with a conversation in the Emerald Tavern during Campaign 1: Embers of Chaos, where a seemingly simple request sets you on the trail of a mystery.
What starts as a search through the wilderness of Neverwinter Wood soon leads into stranger territory. Unusual sightings, unsettling rumors, and signs of a larger scheme begin to emerge as you venture deeper into the woods. Along the way, you'll encounter dangerous foes, uncover hidden motives, and face a challenge that stands between you and the truth.
Complete the quest, and you'll discover that not everything is as it first appears—and earn the chance to welcome a powerful new ally to your adventures.
